Distinguished from Anjuna by a couple of kilometers of cliff
tops and scorched grasslands, Vagator's scenery has an old-worldly charm
with its dilapidated farmhouses and captivating old Portuguese
bungalows. Flourishing under the red ramparts of Chapora Fort, the white
sandy beaches of Big Vagator Beach also popularly known as "Little
Vagator" is almost picturesque in its beauty. To the southern side
of the beach, there are rows of makeshift cafes that belong chiefly to
the Israeli crowd and the secluded spot provides the freshness of the
cool sea breeze and the quietness of the tropical haven. Just like
Anjuna, the beach provides ample opportunity for the travelers to relax
and enjoy the unhampered beauty of nature.
